slept well last night. took my horse picture to the tri-county fair and got a purple. hung out with some friends. went to the rodeo.

update on the horse show... got red... wooo...

yeah... right now my enthusiasm is zip. i want to take a nap but i has to wait for callie to get home first. blah.

so... story time! cause... i feel like spamming your inboxes.
things started off wrong, and they ended wrong.
at the beginning of the week i could tell things where not going to go our way. callie hasn't been up to her normal... spunkyness so i am pretty sure she isn't feeling well. then we had a horse meeting yesterday, but i didn't go cause i wanted callie to hopefully feel a lil better but mom did... got a blow out on the trailer. poor banner was in it, scared him shitless. felt bad for the guy.(there is more to the story that is pretty funny, i might type it after my nap)
so yeah...
couldn't sleep well last night, nor could mom. she had the plan of waking up at 5 am... we didn't get outta bed till 6. and with the trailer out of commission we where trailer-pooling with some friends. they would be there at 7... callie hadn't been bathed cause i had a banner meeting last night at the same time as the horse, nor had she been clipped or anything... so i washed her real quick, cut her bridal path, brushed her. our friends got there and we loaded her. we almost forgot her papers, i about died.
soooo...
we are reading one of them and mom's like "when do we got to be there?" "i have no idea. registry starts at 7" we get there at 8... my first, out of 2, class is already started.

yeah... ended up not showing in showmenship... and i forgot to sign up for horsemenship so all i had was reining, which wasn't till the after noon. waited... and waited... and watched... and waited...

finally it was time for me to warm up callie. the second i was in the saddle though i realized this wasn't going to go so well. so i warmed her up, and she just dragged her feet about.(which is very very odd).
i was first... wooo. and because i was late i didn't get a chance at all to ride callie in the areana so she had NEVER been in it untill i was doing my thing. she shyed at everything!
she was ungodly slow, and right off the bat we had to do 8 spins... callie doesn't even pivot, let alone spin. her circles where nice, but slow. her rollbacks? OMG! HEAVEN! best thing we did. i almost fell off too cause she did it so well i was expecting some half assed one.
afterwards i was rather upset... we did decent, not bad but not good, and Ray(the uber horse man of our county) saied i might make it to state! (my reaction: OMFG NO WAY!!) lol. there had only been 4 people in the class. i went first, the girl behind me aparently did very very well, the next guy broke the pattern horrible, and the last girl(i got to watch her) was even worse than me! so i was... excited!

the second girl got first.
the guy who broke the pattern got second and gets to go to state.
i got red.
and the other girl got white.

wtf.
i mean yeah... i didn't spin, but i did 8 tight circles. no my big circles weren't fast but i did all of them! the guy only did 1 on one side... you where suppose to do 3! callies roll backs kicked his horses' and she stoped really well(not a sliding stop but she doesn't have slide plates on so yeah... can't be helped) my back was crooked, but i went further than him. at least 10 feet is what the paper said, preferred you make it to the middle. i went to the middle.

but whatever...
i'm to tired to really care...
